“Believer, rest assured that the heart of Jesus cares about your smallest concerns.” – C.H. Spurgeon

The BIG ones…

Salvation for my unsaved loved ones, especially my precious grandkids.

My ministry, Risk Takers for Christ, and the people I am privileged to minister to each week at Midway Bible Fellowship and our Living HO) Initiative. Also, the ministry’s ongoing financial needs.

The MEDIUM ones…

My health (please God, no more vertigo!) and the health of my immediate family members, especially my bride of almost 41 years, Deanna.

Good weather for our prison ministry trips, RTC golf events, etc.

Our government officials and those in authority in both the spiritual and secular realms.

The SMALL ones…

The dull ache in my arm that won’t go away after three months (I’m in PT twice a week for it now).

Good weather for our grandkids trip to Georgia in June and Deanna and my vacation to Branson in October.

Guess what? They are ALL BIG to GOD… so stop hesitating to pray about them!

I’ll let Charles Spurgeon, the “Prince of Preachers,” have the last word on the matter…

“The breadth of His tender love is such that you may turn to Him in every case; for in all your afflictions He is afflicted, and just like a father cares for his children, so He cares for you. The smallest interests of all His saints are all borne upon the heart of the Son of God.”

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7 (BSB)
