One Single Word... One Single Drop

“Whatever your sinfulness, Christ has power to pardon, power to pardon you, and millions just like you. A word will speak it. He has nothing more to do to win your pardon; all the atoning work is done.” – C.H. Spurgeon

One single word from His divine lips.

One single drop of His precious blood.

That’s all it takes to save your soul and forgive every last sin you have ever committed… or ever will.

All you need to do is humble yourself, repent of your sins (and turn away from them), and accept Christ’s forgiveness and God’s acceptance. From that moment on, God the Father sees you through the lens of Jesus the Son. Absolute perfection… although we will continue to sin as long as we remain in our mortal bodies.

It really is that simple… and yet, so many people try to add human works to the equation, their pride getting in the way of receiving salvation for “free”.

Actually, it wasn’t free, because it cost God His Son and Jesus His life.

But sometimes the simple things in life are the best and God’s plan of salvation is one of them.

And so, my friend, let’s stop complicating matters and simply trust what Jesus has already accomplished on our behalf on Calvary’s cross by accepting His free gift of eternal life with no strings attached.

Zero.

Jesus paid it all, all to Him I owe; sin had left a crimson stain, He washed it white as snow.

“Come now, let us reason together,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they will be as white as snow; though they are as red as crimson, they will become like wool.” Isaiah 1:18 (BSB)
